Seems like everyone’s catching up on Hender Scheme’s creations. As they say, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”
While Japan’s Hender Scheme is carving out a niche with its handmade, veg-tanned leather reinterpretations of classic sneakers, including one that took inspirations from Jordan’s classic Air Jordan IV. Now it looks like Jordan Brand is turning tables with a natural leather Jordan I, with no reinterpretations. Is that a way of declaring its supremacy? Only time will tell.
Topping things off are a set of leather laces – the exact ones used on the Jordan IV by Hender Scheme, a Pinnacle-exclusive card as well as a white dust bag, similar to the ones we’ve last seen in the Just Don X Air Jordan II.
Thoughts about these vegetable tanned premium Jordans?
